Your Rights Under CCPA
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) provides you with the following rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Know
You have the right to request that Adverteks disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you. Specifically, you may request:
- The categories of personal information we collect
- The categories of sources from which we collect it
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the information
- The categories of third parties with whom we share the information
- The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
Right to Delete
You have the right to request the deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as information needed to complete transactions, detect security incidents, or comply with legal obligations).
Right to Opt Out of Sale
You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. Adverteks operates an advertising platform. When we pass bid requests to demand partners (DSPs), this may be considered a "sale" under CCPA. Use the opt-out button above to exercise this right.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
Personal Information We Collect
In the last 12 months, Adverteks has collected the following categories of personal information:

Note: When we say "sold", this refers to passing data in OpenRTB bid requests to demand-side platforms (DSPs) in exchange for advertising revenue. When you opt out, we suppress personal identifiers from all outbound bid requests.
How to Exercise Your Rights
How the Opt-Out Works Technically
When you opt out, we:
- Set an IAB US Privacy String cookie (
us_privacy=1YYN) on your browser per the IAB CCPA Compliance Framework - Record your opt-out preference in our database, linked to your session ID and hashed IP
- Strip personal identifiers (IP, user agent, audience segments) from all outbound bid requests
- Pass the
us_privacy=1YYNstring to all demand partners in theregs.ext.us_privacyfield of OpenRTB bid requests - Contextual ads may still be shown, but they will not be based on your personal data or browsing history
The opt-out is stored for 12 months. After that, you may need to renew it. You can also opt out again at any time.
